I have a notorious record of wrong-citing names here on my pages, especially those of mega rock stars. Therefore, I’m now triple careful not to do the same again. The choice for the cover image is … well … because it captures what he was truly, I mean how cool Charlie Watts had been in no other way. He was not posing there for being photographed, but beating rhythms, in case it is not clear. The screenshot images are five; two are Charlie Watts, three, Mick Jagger. The music video of Angie succeeds the photos.
The idea behind this post, telling the truth, didn’t exist. I was navigating music video clips of The Rolling Stones and found some awesome online. A fact is that I’ve actually posted (as reposts) The Stones on my X account around the turn of 2024-2025 which can count 2 - 3 days. I thus consider this publication as a follow-up version of my X reposts.
The images below are screenshots I made from “Angie”. All video clips I repost here are from YouTube.

Angie, The Rolling Stones

My confession here is that I’ve never been an ardent rock fan except that I had such a pretension in order to fit myself in the culture of the era. Then, when you’re young and get a feel of rebellion, whether you’re pretending or really getting into may become ambiguous by losing the distinct barrier between those two. Nevertheless, there is a never lasting truth for me. Then and now, and all through the time running from then to now, there are the two songs which I can name ‘absolutely-knocking-me-down’. They are “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix and “Angie”, this one.

I believe this video is from their 2003 MSG (Madison Square Garden NYC). There are different clips and versions available to view online, but I found this one is great with the longish Saxophone insertion, back chorus and video editing. As for The Stones’ performance, nothing needs to be said. They’re professionals at the highest degree and sublime music-artists.

Originally, the same clip was on my X incoming-feeds. I loved it. I reposted on my X output. Charisma ridden in full of the state is Mick Jagger on the stage. For me, rare to see Keith Richards drinking from a bottle in this way in such a mood as if he were just a rock kid playing in a small club.

This publication is not the Dash About series. Nevertheless, let me mention my heartless neighbors are monitoring the progress of my post at every moment, not for good reasons, but to insult me for their choice of replacements to bring up forward again. The code names are Stéphanie, Pearson, or Jennifer or more others. Shiba/Shiva self-serves as an infantile tool to be the most useful as usual for them. So, what should I do now? Just words suffice to throw my offense at them.
Knock me out if you can, idiots!

For the finishing line of this piece, let me get this one in. My other eternal favori. Hey Joe. Jimi Hendrix.
